If yes, apply now for a Victorian Multicultural Festivals and Events Program grant.
The Multicultural Festivals and Events Program supports Victoria’s diverse multicultural and multifaith communities to celebrate, preserve and share their customs and traditions in meaningful ways and build cross-cultural awareness and understanding.
Not-for-profit organisations can apply for:
- Community grants of up to $2,000
- Partnerships grants of up to $70,000
Events that can be funded include:
- Celebrations of a significant cultural or religious day or festival Multicultural performances
- Cultural or religious exhibitions
- Events, festivals, celebrations or community gatherings which promote cultural understanding, customs, traditions and awareness
Newly arrived community celebrations, events in regional communities and organisations who work together to celebrate diversity will all be highly regarded in applications.
Applications close midnight, 10 March 2020.
