Skill Up! Workshop – Creating and Planning a Great Event

A series of introductory workshops are being held at the Art Gallery of Ballarat. These workshops are designed to build the skills of our city’s creative people. If you are serving on a volunteer board, or beginning your practice as an artist, these workshops are designed to equip you with the skills you need to move forward in your endeavour. This program is presented by the City of Ballarat, with support from Regional Arts Victoria and the Art Gallery of Ballarat.
Creating and Planning a Great Event Workshop
The City of Ballarat is home to some of the state’s best events including The Ballarat Begonia Festival, Ballarat Heritage Weekend and Summer Sundays. If you have ever wanted to mount your own event here, but were unsure how to go about it, the Events Team at the City of Ballarat will take you through all the basic skills you need to know, including planning, permits, and regulations.
Location: The Annexe, Art Gallery of Ballarat, 40 Lydiard St North
