COVID-19 vaccinations available for the multicultural community of Ballarat ages 5+

With Winter approaching, it’s important to keep ourselves, our families and our communities safe. Health Professionals agree that the best way to keep yourself healthy this winter is by receiving both vaccines. That’s why at this next Multicultural Community Vaccination Pop-Up Hub, we are offering a FREE Flu vaccination for anyone booking in for their next COVID-19 vaccination.

Saturday 7 May, 10am – 2pm
Ballarat Welcome Centre, 25-39 Barkly St, Ballarat

There will be a pet farm enclosure, free food, and a free gift for every mum!

Why more COVID-19 doses?
It’s all about protecting yourself against getting seriously ill from COVID-19.
In time, your immunity against COVID-19 decreases, so booster COVID-19 vaccinations are essential.

Who can receive what?
Children aged 5-15 can book in for their FIRST or SECOND dose of vaccine.
People aged 16+ can book in for their FIRST, SECOND or THIRD dose of vaccine.
People aged 65+ can book in for their FOURTH winter dose four months after their last COVID Vaccine.
(Please note that the THIRD DOSE is NOT available for children under 16 at this time)

Is it safe to take the COVID-19 and the Flu vaccination on the same day?
It is safe to receive the flu vaccine and the COVID-19 vaccine together.

This important initiative is a partnership between Ballarat Regional Multicultural Council, Ballarat Health Services, Ballarat Community Health and Women’s Health Grampians.
