An Italian journey from the Baroque to the 20th century with guest artist Kavisha Mazzella.
Italian pianist Lucia Brighenti presents interesting, varied programmes with wide appeal, drawing from her lively curiosity for different styles in the classical music. In this special performance for the Ballarat Italian Association, she performs works by Scarlatti, Rossini, Chopin and Liszt and Berio.
Guest artist Kavisha Mazzella AM is an ARIA-award-winning singer songwriter who has explored her heritage through Italian traditional song since the late eighties. Her vivacious performances are full of life-affirming energy that invites the audience to sing along and have fun as well as learning about history.
