Digital Mentor Training
Training will include an induction to volunteering with BRMC as well as Digital Mentorship Training.

Ballarat Welcome Centre, 25-39 Barkly St
BRMC is teaming up with the Ballarat North Neighbourhood Centre to recruit and train Digital Mentors to support members of our community with limited digital literacy skills. The training is supported by the Australian Government’s Be Connected Program.
Do I need to be a Tech Wizard?
No. A person with a reasonable level of digital skill (e.g. has used computers for work or uses Facebook/email) would be a great mentor. You ideally should enjoy working with others, be a good communicator, an outgoing nature and be patient when conducting your mentoring activities.
Volunteering is not only a fun way to meet new people and make new friends, but more importantly make a significant difference to someone else’s life.
