BRMC Active Citizen Workshop

The Victorian Electoral Commission is delivering a workshop at the BRMC Welcome Centre for our multicultural communities on the 8^th June 12pm-3pm.

This workshop is for Ballarat and Grampians multicultural community members to better understand the Australian electoral system, and so they can be more involved and engaged in change.

By the end of the workshop, you will:

• • Understand more about our Australian government and their responsibilities,
  • Learn how you can influence and make positive change in your community,
  • Learn more about democracy and how to vote correctly,

The workshop will be face to face, hands on and interactive (and potentially fun).

There’s also an opportunity to apply for a paid position with the Victorian Electoral Commission as an Ambassador.

The workshop is free, and lunch and child-minding is available.
