Exciting news from the Ballarat Regional Multicultural Council!

BRMC and the Ballarat Welcome Centre have relocated from the former Sacred Heart Convent in Victoria Street to Barkly Square, 25-39 Barkly Street.

Barkly Square is the former Barkly St Campus of Ballarat Secondary College. The site is the original location of the historic Ballarat East Town Hall built in 1861.

From February 2019 the Ballarat Welcome Centre will be located in the heritage building of the former Ballarat East Free Library (built in 1867).
With our offices based in the main building.

BGT Jobs + Training is another local business that has made the move to Barkly Square and will be hosting as lead tenant. www.bgt.org.au
We look forward to working alongside them and other tenants in this new shared space.

Members and visitors are welcome at Barkly Square from 4 February 2019. As you arrive please go to the main reception and ask for BRMC.

All services provided at our Victoria St location will continue at Barkly St. With BRMC office space, meetings, markets, senior services, migration and settlement services, and the Heart Space drop-in centre.

Be sure to pencil in the Twilight Market on 15 February, which will be our first public event at the new location.
